Sit down and spend your evening with AARC and promqueen for a screening of promqueen’s short film, Một Câu Một Nửa (One Phrase, One Half). This evening will also feature a Q&A with the participants from the film, hosted by promqueen, a second generation Vietnamese American musician, based in Austin, TX. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to all. Register in advance on Eventbrite.

About the Collaborator:
promqueen (she/they) is a queer second-gen Vietnamese American musician, actress, writer, and AANHPI community organizer. As promqueen, she sings in Vietnamese and English about her experiences. She has performed at major events like ACL, KUTX Studio 1A, and Future Front Fest, with features in Austin Chronicle, NPR Next Gen Radio, and KUTX 98.9. When not making music, she tends to her garden and writes her family’s story. Follow @saypromqueen
