Welcome to the Austin Center for Events

The Austin Center for Events (ACE) is a collaborative of City departments designed to streamline special event permitting on public and private property.

ACE is anchored by teams from Transportation & Public Works, Parks, Music, Police, Fire, EMS, ARR, Development Services and partner agencies, and works closely with event organizers to guide them through the permitting process.

The Fiscal Year 2024-25 City of Austin budget maintains most existing ACE fees. For more information of fees for your event please contact specialevents@austintexas.gov.
