NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
January 6, 2023
ICMS #: 2023-0002
On January 3, 2023, the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: Driver of Police car
was driving unpredictably and
dangerously on
.
- I was driving the speed limit on
with the police car whipped from behind me into the oncoming traffic lane and then cut in
front of me to get behind the car in front of me. They did not signal or use their lights to
indicate the move and there was traffic turning into the lane from
- On
was in the outside lane and cut in front of a car on the inside line, then cut back to
the outside lane SO they could make the turn onto
.
Again, they did not use
their signal or lights and maneuvered very close to both cars. - On
, there was
a car waiting to turn at the STOP sign on
again cut into the oncoming
lane and turned left without stopping, cutting in front of the car that was already stopped
at the sign. Overall, these were dangerous maneuvers without any indication that the officer
was responding to an emergency or even any sort of telegraphing of what they were
intending to do. This is dangerous and in a high-pedestrian area.
