Complaint: The Office of Police Oversight (OPO) received an anonymous online complaint
alleging the following:
"Sgt.
was recently featured in a
article where she said she
had lost faith in the
of the Department. We agree with her, but in doing SO she violated
APD policy by committing an act which tends to destroy the public confidence in the APD.
All members of the APD should face punishment for all policy violations and she doesn't
get a free pass. She and
should be gone."
This notice of formal complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation in
order to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
