On March 3, 2022 the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: APD is slow as FUCK to handle even the most egregious complaints.
I called about a woman harassing me and trying to enter my apartment, and your incompetent 911
operator listened for about 10 minutes and transferred me to 311 without saying anything, where
I had to repeat the entire story. Pathetic police department, what are my taxes going to? Its
embarrassing that you are allowed this amount of power with such a massive lack of oversight. I
hope all of you have something really awful happen to one of your loved ones very soon, and I
hope no one comes to help when you call.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
