stating the following:
"This is probably my hundredth interaction with the Austin Police department over my
autistic son. This is the second interaction with officer

health training he is Dismissive and rude refused my request for a mental health officer,
and during the pandemic was closer than six feet from my mentally ill child throughout the
whole interaction. Police need to stop responding to mental health calls especially when
it's a mentally ill minor who is calling, especially if they are going to act like officer
and make the situation worse."
This notice of formal complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation in
order to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
Recommended Administrative Policies to Review (to include but not limited to):

Recommended Classification: The OPO is permitted to make a preliminary recommendation
on the classification of administrative cases.
The OPO recommends that this allegation receive a B classification.
The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the American Disabilities Act.
Reasonable modifications and equal access to communications will be provided upon request.
