The complainant alleges: APD took his luggage and other items and put them in the back of a police car. They took his things wherever they store things. They took him to jail where he spent 6 months. When he got released, he had on only a pair of gym shorts and a t-shirt and no shoes. When the complainant went to get his property, he was told they destroy it after days. He told them they were supposed to let him know what was going on because what they destroyed was $20,000 worth of property. This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
