The complainant alleges: A police office got into my car that was parked in a private residence driveway. He opened the car door rummaged around grabbing my cellphone. He gave it back to me when I confronted him because he had no right to get into my car nor any cause. This was a violation of privacy and I believe it's against the law. This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
