It's a very threatening-looking black and white flag with a narrow blue stripe. That symbol of the thin blue line has a very strong racial hostility message, and the complainant felt threatened by the fact that that was posted by police in their own offices. The complainant is hoping that they can take it down and appreciates the recipient of the complaint for their attention to this act of racial hostility. This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
