The complainant alleges: The complainant was in a public park in his neighborhood. APD sent out an officer who told the complainant that he didn't look like he belonged there. He pays taxes, his house is paid off, he has good car insurance. There is actual crime happening and APD needs to stop messing with Black folks who are just out trying to enjoy their day. He states, "Please refrain from sending these racist ass people you got towards my house. Thank you." This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
