The complainant alleges: There was a burglary at his home around on The burglar went to his neighbor's house first. The neighbor called the police and when the police arrived, they let the burglar go. It is ridiculous because they have video footage of the person trying to break into his neighbor's house. The burglar stole over $2,000 worth of merchandise from the complainant's home. The burglar was standing there with a bag of stolen items as the police questioned him. The police did not protect him. This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
