NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
February 10, 2023
ICMS #: 2023-0102
On February 6, 2023, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: The complainant was at a
and called 911 to
request an officer because a gang member had pulled up and was just sitting there next to
him. When he called 911, because everyone at the city including law enforcement knows
about him now, the operator was asking him if he needs a mental health worker. He doesn't
need a mental health worker, he needs someone to do some policing and tell these people
to leave him alone. He is being deprived as an American citizen and an Austinite by this
law enforcement agency not protecting his rights and basically throwing him out there to
the wolves to defend himself. The people have been harassing him for
; they already stole his trailer. If something happens, there's going to be a
lawful suit against the City of Austin because he's already made too many requests and
isn't getting any help.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
