ICMS #: 2022-1106
On December 6, 2022, the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: Recently a close friend of mine, Retired APD Officer

He told me that he did not make a report because he was
worried about her daughter, embarrassed about the incident, and afraid he would be viewed
poorly if the public found out because he was a

happened. He told me he has a photo of his injuries, but he didn't show it to me. I'm
reporting this anonymously because I am disturbed that
was treated this way by
someone who continues to be a police officer. I was even more bothered when I found out
that she works in an important office that investigates sexual assaults. I have known
for many years, and I know he is too proud and embarrassed to report this, but I think it's
the right thing to do.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
