NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
October 28, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0984
On October 26, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: The complainant is leasing a bedroom with housemates. She
thinks the owner is a sociopath because she caught her at her bedroom door in the middle
of the night, SO she bought a deadbolt lock for her door. The complainant has been thru
the police academy, and she knows a sociopath when she sees one. The owner also suffers
from extreme dementia. The owner and her friends have broken the lock and got into the
complainant's bedroom before. The owner's friends from the homeowner's association
knocked on her door and pushed their way into her bedroom SO she called the police. The
responding officer separated them but did not speak to her immediately. She asked the
officer why he spoke to the others first when she was the one who called APD. The officer
told her she did not have the right to live there because she did not have a lease and they
could do whatever they wanted and then he left. There were at least 6 or 7 people present.
The officer was the worst example of crowd control and interviewing people. She has a
video/picture of the man who broke into her bedroom.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
