On October 12, 2022, the OPO received an email complaint via 311.
The complainant alleges: The complaint is regarding an officer not contacting the
complainant back. The caller stated she was advised by Office
to contact her if
the other party did not handle the money issues. The caller stated that the other party told
her that she would pay and to give her some time. The caller stated she was complying
with Officer
guidance to allow the other party time to pay, however, the other
party blocked her number, and the caller has not been able to reach the other party. The
caller has been trying to reach out to Officer
to advise her to follow through with
another Police Report. Officer
advised the caller to contact her if the other party
did not comply, but when the caller tried to contact Officer
however, she has not
received a call back.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
