NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
October 14, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0910
On October 10, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: He witnessed a person being attacked by five homeless people.
The complainant was able to get a picture of one of the suspects before he ran away. The
complainant called 911 and a Hispanic female and white male officer with a beard
responded to his 911 call. The male officer was a super smart ass. The complainant offered
to provide a picture he had taken of the suspect and was told by the officer "Since you
won't give me your ID, I don't give a
about who he is". He also told the complainant
to get the
across the street and shut up. When the complainant refused to provide his
ID, the officers refused to do anything or talk to him and drove off.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
