NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
September 16, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0801
On September 15, 2022, the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: I have information regarding a police lieutenant attempting to
minimize one of his employees injuries in an attempt to avoid dealing with the fact that
one of his supervisors assaulted one of their employees. The lieutenant knowingly
submitting a workers compensation form that was not accurate. He failed to ensure that a
workers compensation form was filled out when he was notified of the incident and failed
to follow through on any type of action when he was advised of the assault between his
staff. The assault occurred on
of this year. The Lieutenant tried to talk the victim
out of writing a report stating that it would just be a class C and it wouldn't go anywhere.
