NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
September 9, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0768
On September 8, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: The complainant alleges that she was wrongfully arrested
.
There was a witness at her house at the time the crime was supposed
to have occurred. APD showed up with 5 unmarked and 2 marked cars and arrested her.
The case was dismissed. She filed a complaint. On
, officers started
banging on her front window and front door. They tried to open the front door and then
tried to open the back door two different times. She heard one officer tell the other officer
there would be a dog, so, whoever called them knew she had a dog. They were trying to
pry open the back door. She recorded it. Every time she turns around they're doing
something illegal and no one has jurisdiction over them SO they do whatever they want.
The complainant is also upset that her complaints are sent to IA and she doesn't receive
any kind of resolution.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
