NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
July 22, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0610
On July 21, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: His wife went to his house to feed the dogs and discovered there
were people living in his house. The people refused to leave SO his wife called the police.
When the police arrived, they asked permission from the people living there to let his wife
feed the dogs. The police ran his wife off and allowed the people in the house to stay. The
people went through his house and threw his medications all over the house and driveway.
He is 71 years old and it appears the intention was to hurt the welfare of someone over 65
which is also against the law. As a result of APD's actions the people who were allowed
to stay in his house stole over $9,000 worth of property and firearms. He has had a similar
incident happen in another county. It is a state problem that a lie is accepted by the criminal
as legal proof instead of the people honestly involved. He would like for the police to meet
him and walk through his house with him because there were many firearms stolen and the
people who were allowed to stay there may be waiting and ready to shoot him if he shows
up.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
