NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
July 15, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0576
On July 12, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: His friend of 10 years apartment was burglarized. As he waited
for his friend, he sat outside on a bench to smoke a cigarette. One of the tenants spoke to
him as she was going to check her mailbox. Office personnel approached them, totally
ignored him, and begin asking the tenant questions about him. When he asked her why
she
was not talking to him she threatened to call the police and tell them he was trespassing.
When the police responded they gave him a ticket for criminal trespassing, and he does not
understand why because he has visited the friend's apartment before. When he asked the
officers if he could get an escort to get his things, the two responding officers told him no.
He still has items he needs to get from his friend's apartment. He is just trying to get his
things. A similar situation happened to him
