On July 7, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: His sister,

works for the city and has been
constantly stealing from him and his mother. He reported his sister because she stole their
mother's identity and stole coins and other items of his. He reported that his sister has
stolen food stamps and money from his mother's account. His sister has also been selling
his mother's pain medication and that is against the law. When he told the police about
everything, they told him law enforcement does not deal with small-time drug dealers and
drug enforcement will not deal with it. After his mother passed away, he had the electric
service terminated and his sister got very angry and put him out. He has told APD
everything and it has been
and APD has not done anything.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
