On June 2, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: He was hit by a car and injured, and the police keep telling him
it is a civil matter. There is a video of the incident that needs to be reviewed (case #
). The police keep telling him to go away and get out of their faces. There were
other incidents. One was on

and he has not been able to get any record of those incidents
in order to follow up. He wants the names of the officers that responded to both incidents
because they were very intimidating. He is having constant harassment from APD. There
is a mug shot he cannot get removed from the internet and it is affecting his relationships
and his ability to acquire a place to live SO he now he is homeless.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
