On June 3, 2022, the OPO received an email complaint.
The complainant alleges: Resident is giving feedback on outcome of the APD - Non
Emergency Collision service request. Resident contacted 911 when her accident occurred
in mid-
, but they never responded, and she was informed APD does not respond to
minor collision incidents and cannot respond to an incident that has already occurred.
Resident states she was injured in the accident and did not believe this to be minor. Resident
called 911 at the time and was told to wait, but they never responded and she was stuck in
traffic for some time. Resident would like to discuss the issue with someone at APD. Report

This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
