NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
May 20, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0392
On May 16, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: She was driving home and there was a gentleman driving about
60 miles an hour who swerved into her lane and almost hit her. He lost control of his
vehicle and flipped it over. The driver was not hurt and was able to climb out of the moon
roof. She wanted the driver to take a sobriety test and get a ticket because he admitted he
was speeding and caused the accident. She called 911 and EMS and the Fire Department
responded. After 2 hours of waiting for APD, the Fire Department said they had to call a
tow truck and get things cleaned up. Meanwhile, APD was at the bottom of
and
blocking off traffic, and never came to where the accident happened. When she
called on Friday, she was told the case was closed because the police could not find them.
