On March 28, 2022, the OPO received an email complaint.
The complainant alleges: OPO received the following via email from 3-1-1: Resident is
submitting a complaint against the APD officers who responded to a disturbance at resident's home
on

The caller was the victim of the incident and states the police mishandled her
and treated her unprofessionally. Resident states the officers harassed her as if she did something
wrong and one of the other officers grabbed her arm tightly. Resident did not identify any of the
officers. Incident occurred at

Resident refused to report to the Office of
Police Oversight and adamantly requested Austin 311 submit the report.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
