On March 25, 2022, the OPO received an email complaint.
The complainant alleges: Officer

concerning the maintenance man
at
senior apartments came to do repairs in my restroom my bedroom door was closed
maintenance
didn't go to the restroom he went in my bedroom did not knock to see if
someone was in there entered and did not answer me while he's in my bedroom to why maintenance
in my bedroom and that went on for a good little while to finally I went to the front door I
opened it I put something in the door I went to the weapon that I had in case maintenance
came out I wouldn't enter the bedroom because I knew he was trying to have sex with me illegally
and not consented and maintenance
was working at the time he's trying to do this and he's
not even anything to me his name is
SO finally nine days later it took the police to come out
but I reported it to adult protection agency I even sent police oversight a copy

came to take the report 9 days later he told me that maintenance had the right to
go in my bedroom that the door is closed he did not knock, and police officer
stated maintenance
doesn't have to answer me while he's in my bedroom, IX

why are you in you know why are you in my bedroom and why can't you
answer me
why are you in my bedroom and that's where maintenance was not it was in the
restroom, SO the police officer

seems to think that maintenance
has the right not to answer me while he's in my bedroom with the door closed. Police officer
believes he had the right to do that
What he did and that was SO incredibly stupid I never told the officer that
was no longer on
the property he was removed because he tried to have sex with me doing his work hours and there's
nothing between us. I don't know last name. I don't know where he lives. I don't have his phone
number there's nothing going on between us. I did not see this coming for him to even try this
during his work hours at
senior apartments SO finally the office to call me
back I'm going to send you a copy of his tape conversation of officer

He was visiting my house that took nine days for the police to come out reporting maintenance
man
at
senior apartment they didn't come out and adult protection
agency
office helping human resource all had the copy of the report of the
maintenance man trying to have sex with me during his workouts and this police officer felt like
that maintenance man could go in my bedroom where there was no maintenance and he don't have
to answer me while he's in my bedroom.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
