NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
January 21, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0046
On January 20, 2022 the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: He got robbed at knifepoint and the person tried to steal his car. The
police were called, but no one ever came out. He called
to complain, and they said they
would have a sergeant call him, but he never got a call. He called
and was told the cops
came on
which was a complete fabrication because no one did. The guy rode his bicycle
to rob him and fled on foot, and he had the bike and hat, and no one has ever come or done anything,
and someone needs to get fired. He is unsatisfied with police protection and cannot wait to get the
hell out of here. He requested information, and he has not gotten anything. He wants the complete
file, and no one will give it to him. He requested information on case#
; some of the
property was returned. He did a public information request and most of the information was
redacted.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
