CITY OF ALUSTIN OFFICE OF NOTICE OF FORMAL POLICE OVERSIGHT COMPLAINT FOUNDED 1839 ICMS #: 2020-1128 June 30, 2020 Complaint: Anonymous complaint alleges "On , at around , officer or former officer (badge number ) driving a Black GMC Sierra turned onto 8th street from the i-35 access road in front of APD and attempted to hit many peaceful protesters including an amputee in a wheelchair. It was not an accidental turn. I was one of the people he tried to run into. I stood my ground with my body against the front of the vehicle and he still tried to drive forward into me and multiple other people. If this man is still employed with the APD it needs to be known that he attempted to assault civilians with his vehicle and that is unacceptable behavior. A gentleman got a picture of his license plate: https:// The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the American Disabilities Act.
