Complaint: The complainant alleges her daughter was hit by a car. The complainant alleges the
police didn't take pictures of the car or try to arrest the guy who was driving the car. The
complainant further alleges it was like they didn't care that he hit two people with his car. The
complainant additionally alleges the guy came back around and got into another car and drove off.
The complainant alleges the police "casually went after him and he got away."
This notice of formal complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and
Municipal Civil Service Rules.

402.2 INCIDENT REPORTING
