The office offers training to City departments on federal legislation that addresses hiring, leave and benefits; monitors the health, welfare and morale of veterans in the City workforce; and works to ensure fair treatment for all service members and their families by all government agencies.

The office also collects furniture donations for formerly-homeless veterans. You can arrange for pick-up of donated furniture by filling out this online form.
