The Housing and Planning Department wants to provide individuals with the opportunity to take a proactive role in the city's planning process for all of Austin. This includes Small Area Plans and Neighborhood Plans.

Demographic Data

Keeping up with how demographic shifts affect the City is essential to successful operations and planning. These pages act as a portal to a large collection of demographic maps and a wide array of demographic data. 

HUD-Required Plans & Reports

Each year, we get federal grants that we use to develop housing in the City of Austin. To get funding, we have to provide the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with a report and our plans for the year.
