I just wanted to tell our police officers how much they are appreciated and needed. They do a wonderful job. Whenever I see a police unit I try to remember to pray for God to keep them safe.  They are wonderful and brave and we are so proud of them and grateful for how they risk their lives to keep us safe. I pray God blesses them and their families with His best blessings and keeps them safe in the hollow of His hand. They are a precious treasure to us all. My husband used to be in law enforcement so I understand how it is for them to go out everyday to keep us safe. They are the best.

God bless.

I was arrested for DWI Friday morning around 12:30 (by Officer Andrew Upton).

Officer Upton, I sincerely apologize for my poor behavior towards you personally after I realized I was going to be arrested; let's just say my adrenal response has historically lended itself to the 'fight' reaction, and not 'flight'. I have replayed that night at least 50 times in my head and I cringe at my ignorance and lack of professionalism. Thank you for dealing with my sassy attitude as calmly as you did.

One of the women helping me through the booking process indicated I was fortunate that you were my arresting officer as you are prompt and efficient with paperwork and that makes eve…

We want to express our great thanks and gratitude towards Detective Alan Goodwin. His excellent work helped us receive payment for leased computer equipment that had not been returned by a delinquent customer in Houston, Texas. Detective Goodwin was prompt in contacting us after filing our complaint, and he addressed our case and concerns very professionally. Even better, from filing the complaint to receiving payment from the delinquent customer took less than two weeks! Thank you again Detective Goodwin and the Austin Police Department for your time and effort resolving this matter.

Officer Creamer,

In January 2019 from a medical hospital you transported me to a place called the sobering center which gave me a place to sober up without receiving a public intoxication charge which would have given me a record at 21. If I had been charged with public intoxication and not been transported to the sobering center, I would have lost my ability to work in my chosen field. Because you were willing to transport me to the center, I still have the opportunity to follow through with my dreams. Thank you so much for helping me that night and letting me know I can start again one day at a time.

Good Morning!

I wanted to send a quick note of thanks to Motor Officers Debes, Brinker and Escamilla from the Austin Police Department. Yesterday my car died on a very dangerous section of Hwy 2222 and I was not able to move my vehicle safely to the side of the road. I immediately called 911 and the team arrived within minutes and were so kind. They calmed me down and helped move the vehicle off the roadway. They stayed with me until the tow-truck arrived and kept me safe and calm. I am thankful to have met these officers and appreciate all that they did for me. Their kindness in a stressful situation was amazing. Thank you to Officers Debes, Brinker, Escamilla and the Austin Polic…

I would like to thank all the wonderful police officers that helped me when my F150 was stolen from the Barton Creek Mall. Because of their diligent work, my truck with recovered within hours. Officers Brandy Hanna, Brant Bradley, Jordan Officer, Christopher Ash, Thomas Lopatowski, Shane Kirk, Mark Butke, Marcus Gonzalez, Amber Tronco, Oscar Ramos and Michael Batham and Corporal Paul Tronco made a terrible experience bearable. It was a very lonely feeling when I found myself in Austin on a business trip and discovered my truck stolen. Thank you for all you do. Be safe out there! I appreciate you all!

I would like to commend Officer Blissit (additionally Officers Krzan, Tatum, and Nguyen, all from Edward 500 shift) with whom I recently rode along. It was a great experience. He was not only extremely professional and courteous during every interaction, he also kindly took the time to explain why he had handled each situation a certain way. You get the sense he learns something new from each call. If I were to become an officer, I could only hope to be as excellent as Officer Blissit.

I want to compliment officer Brendan McMorrow #8569. It might seem like a little thing to some people but I'm 61 yrs old now and disabled from a spinal injury so I can't do things for myself that I used to be able to do. Officer McMorrow  stopped to help me when my truck blew out a tire in a very dangerous location on the 15th street overpass at Lamar Blvd. I could not move the truck any further and several times people slammed on their brakes to keep from hitting me. My roadside service said the location was too dangerous for them to respond, my only option was to call for a wrecker. I was really getting stressed. Officer McMorrow showed up and immediately offered to help me change…

On March 19, 2019 at about 11:15 p.m., I pulled in behind an erratic

behind the driver and on the phone with dispatch until he got to
Capitol Plaza and no officers responded to the call.

When I saw him pull into the McDonald’s at Cameron Road, I
