Staff presentation and possible action on the City's Federal List of Project Requests related to the reauthorization of SAFETEA LU (Transportation funding authorization bill).
The presentation was made by John Hrncir, Intergovernmental Relations Officer; Howard Lazarus, Director of Public Works and Rob Spillar, Director of Transportation. The motion to approve the City's Federal List of Project Requests was approved on Council Member Cole's motion, Council Member Morrison's second on a 7-0 vote. The following friendly amendment was offered but then withdrawn prior to the vote. A friendly amendment was made by Council Member Leffingwell to exclude Toll Tag Detection Station from the City's Federal List of Project Requests.

The presentation was made by John Hrncir, Intergovernmental Relations Officer. The motion to direct staff to oppose Senate Bill 1618 was approved on Council Member Shade's motion, Council Member Cole's second on a 7-0 vote.
