Skip the drive and head to Harlingen, Texas with Delta’s new Nonstop service from Austin

Flying to the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) is about to get a whole lot easier. Starting October 7, 2024, Delta Air Lines will introduce a new nonstop service from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to Valley International Airport (HRL) in Harlingen, Texas. This new year round service will operate once daily, making travel to the southern tip of Texas more convenient than ever.

Delta's new flight to Harlingen will be operated by SkyWest Airlines under the Delta Connection brand. The Embraer E175, known for its spacious two-class configuration, will service the route. The E175 offers 76 seats, with 12 in first class and 64 seats in the main cabin, including 20 Delta Comfort+ seats. Passengers will be able to enjoy in-flight WiFi, power outlets, and USB ports, ensuring a pleasant, albeit quick journey on the 1.5 hour flight.

The daily flights will run as follows:

  • Departure from AUS: Just before 11:00 AM CT
  • Arrival at HRL: Around 12:15 PM CT
  • Return from HRL: 12:45 PM CT
  • Arrival back at AUS: Just after 2:00 PM CT
