About ACE
The Austin Center for Events (ACE) coordinates the permitting of special events for the City of Austin. ACE is governed by Chapter 4-20 – Special Events of the City of Austin Code of Ordinances and the Adopted Administrative Rules for implementation.

ACE Updates
The Fiscal Year 2025-26 City of Austin budget maintains most existing Special Event fees. For more information on fees for your event please email SpecialEvents.
Data Reporting
In compliance with the City of Austin's Special Events Ordinance, the Austin Center for Events maintains data reports for specific event information.
