Act as an advisory group to assist in public outreach and provide feedback on the development and implementation of a revised land development code for the City of Austin. See Resolution No. 20150521-026 and Resolution No. 20150806-048 for more.

To represent this constituency of the City by serving as an advisory board to the city council concerning the needs of the named population.

Make recommendations to the city council on matters relating to the establishment, maintenance and operation of the public libraries.

The Low Income Consumer Advisory Task Force will make recommendations regarding the development, design and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs to meet the demand reduction goals of low income customer programs.

Advisory body to the city council and city manager regarding problems affecting persons with disabilities in the Austin area.

Review the city manager's report, as described in Sections 2-9A-18 and 2-9B-18 (Program Review); and recommend changes to the City Code provisions, adopted rules and regulations, and program operations.

Hears and decides appeals of orders, decisions, or determinations made by the Building Official relating to the application and interpretation of the Mechanical Code and Plumbing Code.

Hear appeals and make final, binding decisions in the case of any municipal civil service employee who is discharged, suspended, demoted, denied a promotion, or put on disciplinary probation.

Advise city council on music development issues.
