ABOUT THE PARK:

This event does not charge a fee for general public participation.

In Use – no fences, no barriers, significant portion of the park reserved/impacted by the event. Includes increased pedestrian and vehicular activity.

Due to the number of participants on site, and the nature of the activities, access to park areas, parking lots, and waterway are impacted during event hours. The parking lot at the park will be closed July 3-5

Lady Bird Lake will be CLOSED to all watercraft between Shoal Creek and 1st street. Caution is urged for anyone on the waterway. Additional space may be closed without notice based on weather or safety needs.
ALLOWED/PROHIBITED ITEMS AT THE PARK:

Barbeque grills and cooking is prohibited at the event site
- No personal fireworks on site, including sparklers

No glass or styrofoam

No pop-up tents or structure canopies on site
- Swimming in Lady Bird Lake is prohibited

Drones are prohibited at the event per FAA regulations

No motorized devices on the trail, or in the park, except those allowed by law for mobility assistance for persons with a disability
- Please leave pets at home, as the fireworks during the performance are highly upsetting to our 4-legged friends. If you lose your pet, check with the Austin Animal Center.
Be Prepared and Leave No Trace
Please follow Leave No Trace principles. Plan ahead and prepare. Dispose of waste properly. Be considerate of other visitors.
- You will be outdoors, so wear sensible shoes, clothes, and hats for sun protection
- Pack water for hydration, bug spray, and blankets
- Pack a flashlight if you are traveling the Hike & Bike Trail
- Personal umbrellas may be used
- Folding chairs with attached canopies are allowed
- Food and beverage vendors will be on site
- Clean up after yourself
- Have a plan and tell people who know you where you will be
- Have your phone fully charged
- Be aware of your surroundings

- One Texas Center - enter via Haywood Avenue off Riverside Drive ($20/car)
- Palmer Event Center - Barton Springs Road entrance ($20/car)
- RiverSouth Garage - 425 West Riverside Drive (4+ hours $20 + tax)
- City Hall Garage - entrance on Guadalupe north of 2nd Street ($20 flat rate)
- State Garage N - 300 San Antonio St.
- Bike parking is available at on site bike racks at the park. Don't forget your bike lock!

PARKING ALERT - Parking on the grass/on unauthorized park grounds is a $250 parking fine during special events.

VENDING ALERT - Illegal vending/commercial activity Class C Misdemeanor minimum $200 fine.

Glass, Styrofoam and Smoking are prohibited in all parks. In addition, the event organizer may restrict additional items on site.
