On August 2, 2025, at around 11:55 p.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a single motorcycle crash in the 9200 block of Cameron Road. The motorcyclist, later identified as Terrance English, was pronounced deceased on scene.
 
This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 58th fatal crash of 2025, resulting in 62 fatalities. On the date of this crash in 2024, 48 fatal crashes resulted in 51 deaths.
