The Austin Police (APD) Residential Burglary Unit is requesting the public’s assistance with locating the owner of a recently recovered stolen bicycle. Detectives believe the bike was custom made for someone and is not a bike anyone can buy as is. It is estimated to be worth $8,000.

Detectives believe the bike was stolen from a storage unit and are encouraging bicycle owners or anyone who might have a storage unit to double check their units to make sure nothing has been stolen and that locks are secure.

If you might be the owner of this bike or think you might know who the owner is, please contact the APD Residential Burglary Unit at (512) 974-4457.
