With the adoption of the Colony Park Master Plan and Design Guidelines and Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning district, the City of Austin Economic Development Department is working to ensure the next phase of the Colony Park Sustainable Community Initiative is successful. We call this next phase the Implementation process.
During Phase II, the City worked with community partners to search for a Master Developer through a formal Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Request for Proposals (RFP) process. Through this process we can secure a Master Developer to work with city staff to build the much-needed infrastructure and development in the Colony Park Sustainable Community.
