AUSTIN, TX – November 1, 2018 – Univision Local Media Austin has joined forces with the City of Austin Economic Development Department Small Business Program and the Austin Public Library to host the first annual POSiBLE ATX Entrepreneur Summit, a one-day event to empower aspiring business owners to build their ideas and grow their companies. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from Austin’s top entrepreneurs and self-made professionals on how to plan, finance, structure, launch and grow a business. POSiBLE ATX takes place on Saturday, November 3rd at the beautiful, award winning Austin Central Library located at 710 W. Cesar Chavez street, Austin, TX 78701 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The event, which is curated with Central Texas entrepreneurs in mind, will feature workshops from participating nonprofits, industry leader keynotes and panel conversations focused on the summit’s five zones of a business: plan it; finance; business structure; grow it and emerging. Entrepreneurs will receive access to critical resources such as training and tools.
The all-day event features opening remarks from Austin’s Mayor Steve Adler, Texas State Representative Eddie Rodriguez, and Director of Austin Public Library Roosevelt Weeks. The day will continue with an opening keynote from the grandson of one of the founders and owners of Grupo Bimbo, a familiar brand within all communities in Mexico and the US, and now owner of CREU CAPITAL- a full service real estate firm, Santiago Jorba. The day will conclude with a closing keynote from the Founder and CEO of the first female Hispanic-owned waste removal company in US history, Maria Rios.
