Come join us on Saturday, June 29 for Pop-Up ATX: City Services on the Go!

Bringing City Resources to East Austin on Saturday, June 29

[AUSTIN, TEXAS, JUNE 29, 2019] —Several City of Austin departments have teamed up to create Pop-Up ATX, a new initiative that aims to reach more residents and ensure that City programs and services are accessible to all Austinites. The next Pop-Up event will take place at YMCA of Austin - East Communities from 10am-12pm on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

A variety of free City resources and services will be provided to the public through this initiative. Vicky Pridgen, Neighborhood Liaison at Austin Code Department, shared that Austin Code will be helping residents to experience a day in the life of a code inspector and take a “virtual walk through a home full of common code violations” via a 360-degree video tour.

Other City departments attending include Austin 3-1-1, Austin Animal Center, Austin Energy, Austin Fire Department-Wildfire Division, Austin Public Health, Austin Public Library, Austin Resource Recovery, Austin Transportation Department, and Austin Water.

Participating departments include Austin 3-1-1, Austin Animal Center, Austin Energy, Austin Fire Department-Wildfire Division, Austin Public Health, Austin Public Library, Austin Resource Recovery, Austin Transportation Department, and Austin Water
