Input will help shape the way for future programming.
The City of Austin’s Small Business Program within the Economic Development Department has contracted Austin Independent Business Alliance in partnership with Distance Learning Media to assess the city’s small business offerings through a needs assessment survey. Input collected through surveys and focus groups will help shape the way for future programming.
“Hearing directly from our small business community is a meaningful step to expand the impact of services,” said Vicky Valdez, Small Business Program Manager with the City of Austin’s Economic Development Department. “The input collected will refine the usefulness of future training and develop a roadmap for small business service delivery over the next 3-5 years.”
Clearly meeting the changing needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses in Austin is essential to the success of the entire community. Small to medium-sized businesses, including creative ventures, are encouraged to participate. The survey takes 5 minutes to complete and gives respondents a more active role in building stronger development tools for Austin’s small business community.
