The City of Austin Economic Development Department will partner with The University of Texas at Austin’s IC2 Institute to accelerate the growth of 20 selected Austin small businesses through a new initiative called FASTFORWARD. Interested candidates must apply by Monday, March 7.
The FASTFORWARD Entrepreneur Training program, designed to help owners expand their business, in an intense, hands-on 12-week training initiative developed by the IC2 Institute. IC2 which is the University's think tank for entrepreneurship, has had tremendous success with this methodology around the world.
Classes will be held 6-9pm on every Tuesday and Thursday from April 5th - June 23rd at the IC2 Institute, 2815 San Gabriel St., Austin, Texas 78705. Companies will receive theory and tools to investigate and validate market and product claims, financial models, and go-to-market strategies. The cost for a two-member business team is $1,000. No single participants will be admitted into the program.
