On Sunday, December 28, at approximately 9:31 a.m., Austin Police (APD) officers responded to a crash that involved an SUV, a hatchback, and a sedan in the 3100 block of South US HWY 183, in the northbound lanes. The unidentified female driver of the hatchback was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the SUV, identified as Angelicque Bramlett, was arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter.
The driver of the sedan remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 94th fatal crash of 2025, resulting in 98 fatalities. On the date of this crash in 2024, 93 fatal crashes resulted in 100 deaths.
