APD Detectives Request Public Assistance in Collision Investigation

Location: Intersection of Guadalupe Street and W 13th Street

The Austin Police (APD) Highway Enforcement Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a collision where the driver fled the scene. The incident occurred on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at approximately 8:10 a.m. at the intersection of Guadalupe Street and W 13th Street. No Injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

According to the investigation, the driver of the suspect vehicle attempted to make a left turn from the center lane of Guadalupe Street and collided with another vehicle. After the incident, the suspect failed to stop and provide the necessary information, as required by transportation laws. This case is currently being investigated as a Collision Involving Damage to Vehicle, per Texas Transportation Code 550.022.

  • White or Hispanic male
  • 20-30 years old
  • Dark hair  
  • Facial hair/Goatee

  • Damage on the driver's side
