Austin Parks and Recreation (PARD) will launch Summer Camp registration on April 19th. Parents will have the choice of a free virtual program called "Stay Creative" or an in-person summer camp. In accordance with federal, state, and local health authorities, PARD has adopted modified guidelines for COVID-19 health and safety.
Stay Creative Virtual Summer Camp will run June 7th - August 13th from 2pm - 4pm. This camp will explore basic principles and elements of art, culture and history offered by the PARD's museums and cultural centers.
In-Person Summer Camp will run June 21st - August 13th at participating Recreation Centers, Nature Centers, and Cultural Centers.
Applicants can register April 19th - May 16th for a random lottery drawing for limited in-person camps. The in-person camp costs $120 per week with $20 due upon acceptance of lottery spot. Priority will be given to residents of City of Austin. To register, please go to: AustinTexas.gov/ParksOnline.
