THE PARK:
- Park Access Map (interactive)
- This event does charge a fee for public participation.
- Amplified Sound: Amplified sound has been permitted at this event from: 10 am for sound checks, until 10 pm daily.
- Park Access: Closed – no accessibility - ticketed participation only.
- Barton Springs Pool remains open on event days, access via Barton Hills ONLY! Parking allowed only while swimming. At 8 pm nightly, ALL roads close for safety during pedestrian egress hours. Download the Pool Access Map
STREET CLOSURES:
- Road and Lane Closure Schedule
- Closures will significantly affect area traffic conditions and public recreational use of the park during event hours.
- Neighborhood NO PARKING restrictions are IN EFFECT! Signed “no parking areas” are actively enforced on event day(s).
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION:
- CapMetro: Use the CapMetro trip planner to and from the park - MetroRapid 803 is the best route to get directly to ACL Fest.
- Hike & Bike Trail: Walk or bike directly to the festival. Bring a light and remember motorized vehicles are not permitted on the trail.
- Bicycle: This bike detour map provides routes around the festival. Bike parking is available on Stratford Drive after crossing the Mopac Pedestrian Bridge.
- MetroBike will also host a valet at their station located on the 1600 block of Barton Springs Road.
- Micromobility: If you are taking a shared scooter or bike to the event, drop off the device in a designated area before entering the grounds.
- Additional bike and scooter (Dockless Mobility) parking will be located on Sterzing Street and Toomey Road.
- Rideshare: Pickup and drop-off points will be located under the Mopac Pedestrian Bridge at Veterans Drive, Lee Barton Drive (between Riverside & Barton Springs Road), and Wallingwood Drive.
- There is no parking at Zilker Park or in the surrounding neighborhoods. Parking on the grass or on unauthorized park grounds will result in a large fine during special events. While there is no parking at Zilker Park, Pavemint has partnered with ACL Fest to provide parking for festival attendees with Pavemint’s smart parking solution. Click here to reserve parking.

IMPACTS and ALTERNATIVE PARK USE AREAS:
- Suggested Alternative Park Use Areas: Vic Mathias Shores Middle lawn, Shores off leash area, or Festival Beach.
- Off Leash Areas - http://www.austintexas.gov/department/leash-areas
- Safety fencing will be erected as part of the event and will close the park to regular public access.
- Due to the number of participants on site, and the nature of the activities, access to park areas, parking lots are impacted during event hours.
- In addition, event set up activities occur in advance such as infrastructure delivery and includes a significant amount of traffic in the park.
ALERTS
- PARKING ALERT - Parking on the grass/on unauthorized park grounds is a $250 parking fine during special events.
- VENDING ALERT - Illegal vending/commercial activity Class C Misdemeanor minimum $200 fine.
- Glass, Styrofoam and Smoking are prohibited in all parks. In addition, the event organizer may restrict additional items on site.
