Announcing Temporary Intake Office Closures and Updates
Austin, TX – With events surrounding COVID-19 developing rapidly, along with the need to take proactive steps to protect the health and safety of our City’s staff and residents, the Austin Code Department’s Intake Office will be closed to walk-in customers until further notice. During this time, while we will not be accepting license applications in-person, we will continue to process applications and issue licenses and denials. Please utilize one of the options below to apply for an operating license. If you have any questions, we encourage you to email: STRLicensing@austintexas.gov.
To submit a payment: Please mail payments by check or money order to the PO Box 1088, Austin Texas 78767 as the Cashier Office is currently closed.
For licenses and registrations:
- Submit the application, all required documentation, and pay the fee on Austin Finance Online:
https://www.austintexas.gov/financeonline/account_services/hotel/
- Email the completed application and all required documentation to STRLicensing@austintexas.gov and utilize Austin Finance Online to pay the application fee.
- Mail the application, all supporting documentation, and a check or money order for the fee to:
