Rebates of $30 per barrel are available for rainbarrels purchased outside of
our rainbarrel sales program. Barrels purchased through the City and
secondhand barrels are not eligible for rebates. Applicants must be customers of
Austin Water Utility or an eligible water district and agree to keep the rainbarrel in use
within the AWU service area for a five-year period.
